Achieving Community Collaboration in Education and Student Success (ACCESS) is committed to improving student success. ACCESS has enabled M-DCPS and FIU to align our combined instructional, research and creative talents to improve the academic success of our K-12 students and our future FIU students. Chaired by the superintendent of M-DCPS and the president of FIU, ACCESS is an achievement-oriented partnership designed to: 

  • Increase high school graduation rates
  • Promote students’ transition into higher education
  • Strategically expand dual enrollment
  • Create career pathways for students through internships and academies
  • Create a more robust teacher and counselor talent pipeline
