EK," has worked in the Human Resources industry for more than nineteen years and is often applauded for putting the 'human' in Human Resources. She has previously served in the positions of HR Analyst; Senior HR Analyst; Assistant HR Director, and HR Director, leading to her current position of Assistant Vice President for the Division of Human Resources, at FIU. Here, she is responsible for many institutional initiatives geared to ensuring our valued employees continue to thrive professionally and personally at 'our' FIU-designated as one of the nation's greatest colleges to work for. Her expertise has been recognized by the Broward Chapter of the Society for Human Resources in awarding her the "HR Professional of the Year" award.
El pagnier holds a BS degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Applied Social Science. She demonstrates proficiency in leadership and administration. She has been an invited lecturer at FAU, keynote speaker and guest lecturer at the Henry B. Fernandez Leadership Institute and has served as workshop presenter on topics related to leadership, administration and excellence in the marketplace. El pagnier is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, World at Work, and the College and University HR Executives Consortium.
