Brandi Coverson, B.S., M.A. was appointed Coordinator of Social Media and Website at Florida International University on November 7, 2011.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and a Master of Arts in Media and Communications at Norfolk State University.

She is the recipient of the Young Writer's Conference Award.

As Coordinator of Social Media and Website at FIU, Coverson is responsible for coordinating the Engagement website, writing stories, updating social media sites and formatting the database.
